This vintage clear divided grill plate was made by the Indiana Glass Company. The Indiana Glass Company began in Dunkirk, Indiana, in 1907. The company produced Depression as well as carnival glass during the 1930's and they manufactured hand molded glass as well as machine made glass in the same factory. Indiana Glass started producing pressed patterns in 1929. This piece was made by Indiana Glass from molds purchased from Federal Glass in 1982. In 1983 Lancaster Colony purchased the company. Lancaster Colony closed the factory in 2002. With a scalloped edge in the Madrid pattern it is in very good + condition, without chips, cracks or fleabites and measures 10 1/4 inches in diameter.
