Circa: 1948 Country of Origin: Japan Manufacturer: Mid Century Japan Import
An assortment of late 1940s to early 1950s Japan Christmas ornament decorations made with silver mercury glass bead chains and foiled paper maché bells. Three have silver foil poinsettias at the tops with red glass bead centers, two of these also have green foil holly leaves. Each has four staggered-length strands of silver beads with two smaller and two larger foil covered composition bells dangling below. One still has its original paper Made In Japan label attached. They are 9 to 10 inches long.
The other three dangle ornaments are similar but do not have the foil poinsettias at the tops. Two have three bells. These are about 7 inches long. There may be a couple of chipped beads and they do have inner silvering loss. I'm including a couple of extra smaller ornaments that are incomplete that you can use to extend or add to the other six.
