Superb Czech. Glass bead necklace from the early 1900's. The necklace measures 16 inches with the large pendant and 3 fringe hanging another 2 3/4 inches. A simple spring clasp is used and the jump ring is marked Czechoslovakia. There are 14 small round green glass beads on each side of the pendant. Each side also has 2 oblong beads that measure 1/2 inch each. The large oval pendant is set in silvertone metal and measures 1 1/2 inches long by 1 1/4 inches wide. 3 sepate fringe pieces made up of small round glass beads and 3 larger egg shaped beads. The coloring on this necklace is just fantastic and this would be a treasure in anyone's collection. |
