This is a novelty set from the 1950's Made In Japan. Made of wood with metal caps, the salt is also a bottle opener and the pepper is also a corkscrew. They both have painted faces. The caps slide to open and close and to fill. They sit in a wooden rack. The shakers measure 2 1/2" not including their attachment. The rack measures 4 1/4" long x 4" high x 2 1/4" deep. Both shakers are stamped into the wood on the bottom: Japan. The rack is stamped in ink: Japan.
CONDITION: Very good with no damage to the wood, metal or paint. |
