This small beaded evening bag was made in Chechoslavakia in the 1920's. The beading is a geometric pattern done in white, beige and gold beads on the front and back. The front is embellished with additional silver bugle beads and pearls. Two beaded rings(1 3/4") diameter form the handles. The bag is 4 1/2" from top to bottom.The bottom is 5 3/4" across. The zipper opening is 4" wide. The zipper is marked with Chechoslavakia underneath. It is in very good condition. One handle may have been reattached. This bag would be good for "something old" for a bride to carry! |
