The Sextette from Lucia di Lammermoor was a popular parlor piece, and this is an arrangement for piano suitable for pianists of high intermediate to advanced skill.
The opera was based on the historical novel by Sir Walter Scott, The Bride of Lammermoor (feuding families, love interest).
Pfeiffer produced many striking covers with Art Nouveau influence in the period around 1915.
The cover art is in shades and tints of orange, peach, and dove gray-blue.
Note: Two spellings ("Sextet" and "Sextette" on the cover and first page).
In Good condition with mild wear with minor edge staining.
A very nice copy for décor or framing as the central graphic is in good condition.
