Vintage Todocio's Saddle Bum Cowboy Wood Carving Santa Fe New Mexico. Todocio Valdez of Santa Fe New Mexico, born in 1929 he was known for his handmade wood carved cowboys known as Todocio's Saddle Bums. This line of hand carved figurines date from the 1940's to 1950's and are a rare find.
This figurine has a finely detailed cowboy holding a rifle, his other hand originally held something, perhaps a rope that is missing. The base of this piece is about 3 1/2 inches across, total height is 11 inches, the base is signed Todocio's Saddle Bums along with Santa Fe NM.
