China-genuine elephant ivory chess set-complete 32 pieces- each piece has a mystery ball in the stand- fine condition,only fault is the elephants are missing the flags,some lost,some broken off (quite common on old sets)- there is no chest or board with the set (boards easily obtainable on the internet)-all the pieces stand erect although the photos of some show a tilt which is due to the cloth surface they were photographef on( my apologies)- tje kings are 6 3/4in. tall and thw pawns are 3in. tall (a large set)-Ca. 1950-pre ban |
