Circa: 1950s Country of Origin: United States Manufacturer: Coronation Collection
A full and complete boxed set of 1950s Christmas greeting cards featuring charming angel scenes. There are 21 cards with matching envelopes, 4 by 5 inches, which match the contents number stated on the box. The box says it's a Regency Assortment from the Coronation Collection, an Art Linkletter favorite selection.
There are four different designs: three caroling angel children with a lantern and sheet music, a stylized Nativity type scene with angels, two angels in a forest with woodland animals, and a pink robed angel with lambs. All are decorated with gold glitter outline trim and have a different brief Christmas and New Year greeting printed inside. They are of course unused. The oval cutout in the box lid is open, leaving the cards exposed over the past half century. The top 3 or 4 cards in the box are a little darker than the others from age discoloration, only noticeable when compared to the others underneath.
