Pair of Modern Abstract Design Vases, Artist Signed. This pair of unique hand wrought vases has a background of brown glaze so deep in tone it looks black, and geometric designs in green and blue accented with cream and gold. The vases are each about 10" tall with the artist's mark imprinted like a seal on a document. The signature seems to be a heiroglyph, so we assume these vases come from Egypt or the Middle East. Whatever their origin, this pair of lovely modern art vases will be a wonderful dramatic statement in any room.
