This 1970s Christmas village set was made in Japan and originally came in a box labeled Alpine Christmas Village. The 5-1/4" tall church and nine of the 2-3/4" high houses are from the same set and have pieces that come apart so you can easily change or insert lightbulbs in the backs. Two houses are a little different. They have 3-dimensional plastic Santa and child figures in front along with green bottle brush trees. These have the holes in the backs for lights as well as cord hangers at the tops. A 20-bulb, 6-1/2 foot long string of working miniature white Christmas lights is included. I don't have the original box.
