This crystal salt celler or open salt comes in a silver plate stand that is marked: HH7 MET.
The 3 legged stand has a delicate flower and leaf design.
In very good + condition without chips, cracks or fleabites it measures 1 1/2 inches tall, 1 5/8 inches across the rim and 2 inches wide.
Master salts were passed around to each person while individual salts were placed at each table setting having a small spoon in each for easy use although many people used their fingers for that pinch of salt. The serving spoons came in many shapes and were made from sterling silver, glass and even plastic. Price quoted is for each one ordered.
