Six old composition bird and fowl figures for your Christmas putz village display. They were often sold as children's toys in the off-holiday seasons. All have painted metal legs and are marked Italy. There are two geese, one duck, and three chickens - two are roosters, one is a hen. The birds are 1-1/4" to 2-5/8 inches high. Heavy for their size, the figures are made of a cement-like clay material and hand painted. All have some paint wear as shown.
