This postcard pictures the Civil War Battle Field at Cedar Creek, Virginia which took place on Oct. 19, 1864 and is also known as the Belle Grove battlefield. It is in fair condition with no tears, holes, folds or creases. There is corner rounding, surface paper loss at the corners and edges, numerous small age browning spots and three small spots where the finish was rubbed off near the lower left corner. It was made in Germany for A. C. Bosselman & Co. of New York and is numbered 6130 in the upper right corner. This Cedar Creek, VA Civil War battlefield postcard has a notation written on the back but was not stamped or mailed.
