A pretty navy blue with pink, white, and green flower print vintage 1940s dress. Rayon material. Nice bodice with scalloped edges, V neck with line and tucks, and a little bow. Hips have extra fabric to look like a flounce peplum. No close. Slips over head. Does have a belt but larger than dress. Probably was altered and zipper taken out. No label. I have pinned this on my mannequin for best look. Please measure yourself for best fit.
CONDITION: GOOD WITH A FEW ISSUES. ONLY HOLE FOUND IS STRESS BY UNDERARM SEAM. HEM LET OUT ALL THE WAY. NO ZIPPER AND LARGER BELT MAKES ME THINK DRESS WAS ONCE LARGER IN THE WAIST. V NECK HELPS WITH GETTING ON. SMELLS LIKE IT HAS BEEN STORED IN A BASEMENT AND NEEDS TLC CLEANING. FRONT HAS STAIN(SEE PICTURE). BACK TOP IS SOMEWHAT DISCOLORED(SEE PICTURE). THE HOLE UNDER ARM AND SMELL ARE THE MOST SERIOUS PROBLEMS. HOLE COULD GET WORSE WITHOUT FIXING FIRST. SOME OVERALL WEAR.
