This is a vintage Mexican sterling silver necklace. It is signed 925 MEXICO and ?S-??. The signature is very faint and hard to read. Based upon the style, the necklace appears to be a Matilde Eugenia Poulat or MATL but the mark is difficult to read so I do not know for certain whether this is a MATL or a MATL style. The necklace is a choker with bezel set amethyst, turquoise and red coral stones. There is a large center section with dangling pieces. There are pieces of turquoise on the dangles and on the links on either side of the center piece. There is a red coral stone on the top of the clasp. The necklace measures 17 inches long. The center section measures 2 inches at the widest point. The necklace weighs 83.3 grams. It is in very good condition with no missing stones.
