Circa: 1975 Manufacturer: Paramount Pictures
Nifty find out of a home as part of a movie memorabilia collection. Original Movie Lobby Card (or small side poster) for the 1975 film "Jacqueline Susann's Once Is Not Enough". This Paramount Pictures lobby card (with a notice that it is distributed by National Screen Service Corporation) we believe pictures Deborah Raffin in a scene from the movie (which also starred Kirk Douglas, Alexis Smith, David Janssen, George Hamilton, Melina Mercouri and Brenda Vaccaro). This is one of two lobby cards from this same film which we are listing. This lobby card is labelled #1 at the bottom. Measures 14 inches wide x 11 inches high. Marked at bottom as a litho or lithograph made in U.S.A. Printed on thin card stock (not simple paper). In lower right corner is printed the numbers "75/126". This will be mailed flat in a plastic sleeve, sandwiched between cardboard in a large padded envelope.
We've provided 7 images to show front and back and some closeups. Please use the zoom feature to examine closely.
Flat on a table this piece looks very nice, but once you hold this at an angle (or shoot an image at an angle in bright light as we've done) you can see that it has surface wear and is not mint. For example, in the images you can see two lines on Deborah Raffin's pants, which look white. These actually aren't white in person and are not visible until this is shot or looked at at an angle; they are light surface lines that don't break through the image/coloring. Similarly, there is some light large multi-line scuffing on the dark tree background of the image on the left side, some smaller scuffing in the trees near the top edge, an s type crease line in the tree area near the image of Deborah Raffin, as well as other surface lines in other spots on this lobby card. It generally looks to us like something was lightly scraped across the surface of this piece in varied spots but not hard enough to effect the image with normal viewing (perhaps this occurred with how this piece was stored, we don't know). We don't think this would be noticeable if framed. We can also see a tiny bit of corner folding/bumping at one tip/corner bottom right, with some light browning and slight surface paper tearing in the bottom left corner margin area. The back side has a few smudged dark marks (nothing bad) and you can see there is some light bending near one corner with some slight indentations on the lobby card elsewhere.
In addition to the 2 lobby cards from this film, we are listing lobby cards from other movies. Should you be interested in more than one, we would be pleased to ship these together in one package to save you postage. Please contact us prior to inputting the order as the system won't provide you with the combined shipping discount. We would be pleased to calculate that for you. |
