This is a good used vintage 50' measuring tape with the white background, black markings on steel tape. The tape has some staining on nearly all 50' length, but the markings can still be read, except for the area shown in the photo between the 2" and 4" marking is worn off. The exterior is leather like material with an round aluminum band wrapping around it. It is marked on the center ring "EVANS & CO. ELIZABETH NEW JERSEY WHITE 50W" The flip crank works fine. There is an internal rewind assistance spring that seems to work fine for the most part, but has a different feel than other brands I have used. Overall good shape, mostly comedic flaws, not damaged, but some wear, well made, the tape is pretty heavy duty, only a few minor bent areas. |
