It is with a doubt the best laptop desk we have had to date. The box is made from the finest matching mahogany with inset brass braces all around its sides middle and top. The desk opens to a tapered hand tooled leather writing surface. inside there are compartments for pens, pencils and ink well. To our surprise when we removed the tray we realized the box must have a secret compartment. After several hours we located a tiny slot that when a pen knife is inserted it releases a solid mahogany board concealing three fine small drawers just underneath the inkwell and pencil holder. It is near impossible to see. The box is in excellent condition with original key. Measures 16 inches wide by 10 inches deep and 6 inches high. Opens to 20 inches. Shipping extra.
