Curiously, the base is signed the same Limoges mark and "HKR 1910" - the same artists initials but thefollowing year, perhaps this was a project she did during the holidays of 1909! 	Porcelain and Pottery: Lovely Victorian porcelain pin tray Lovely Victorian porcelain pin tray. There is mark on theback with a star saying "France" beneath. We believe this to be a Limogemark. The tray has a wonderful original gilt border surrounding a paintingof a pond. It is signed "John Meyers -46-" One would expect that thenumber stands for the year but the tray is definitely made prior to 1910.It could be that the number stands for age, anniversary, etc or the paintingcould have been made in 1946 on an original blank.
