Gilt gesso frame wall mirror. European Continental 19th century. Probably intended to hang above a pier / console table.Measures 33inches high.Rococco scrolling shaped gilt wood frame with befelled glass. Top has bow, ribbons and flowers in high relief. Sides consist of a series of foliate scrolls cut very deep. Chain at the back for hanging.Condition is very good. The mirror has no dark spots/damage of any sort. Very light surface scratches on the frame as to be expected in a piece of this age, in no way detract. Original condition - no restorations.

Delightful Triple Mirrored Gallery Original Finish Quartered Oak ChinaCabinet with serpentine front door. It has it's original full length thick beveled mirrored back (itis unusual that this would be beveled) and heavy plate glass shelves. The gallery is on twolevels with a pretty shaped original top mirror and two original side mirrors. In the centeris a carved lion head with delicate scroll carvings and an urn with full length rope twist columnson the side stiles. Oak Triple Mirrored Vanity
Most unusual fancy quartered oak vanity. This piece has a central beveled glass mirror (some normal fading of the silvering) with carving at the top, and two shaped side mirrors that pivot (see photo). Four shapely turned finials adorn the top supports. There are substantial open carvings between the mirrors. The backs of the two outside mirrors feature an inset quartered oak panel with applied carving held in with a rope molding. Two curved jewelry drawers are above the surface. The base has a serpentine front with three drawers with cast brass hardware. There is contact paper on the bottoms of all the drawers. This could easily be removed. Gentle curved legs with carving at the tops are in the front. This is a very attractive and utilitarian piece. We have never had this form before! Magnificent exceptional quality rosewood Renaissance Revival Victorian mirror. The top has carvings including gilded grapes and appliedbuttons. Three porcelain hand painted medallions (probably French Sevres)are surrounded by fancy brass trim. The sides have full fluted and carvedcolumns. The mirror itself is original. All original gold and blackdecoration was used to highlight the carvings and moldings. Some parts ofthe base molding has been professionally restored. This was most likelymade by Pottier and Stymus, NY, although we can not make a certainattribution. The front of the cabinet is carved and has an original serpentine glass front door and bowed glass sides.
