Measurements:10 3/4 inches long; 6 1/2 inches at widest points. Weighs 270 grams. Beautiful rectangular tray with curved and rounded edges. Rolled, raised rims. The shoulders, arching up and out are profusely engraved with a scroll and foliate design. Each rounded corner has a gryphon - monster head with forked tongue. Exquisite! Back has engraved Gorham Sterling mark and number B2461. Lightly engraved above that is the name Bigelow Kennard & Co. A personal sticker with the name of Mrs Edward A. Timmins and her address in New York refers to Mrs Mary Timmins, the previous famous owner (see above). Very good condition - front is like a mirror. No dings/dents/damage of any sort.
