The shaped backs have a number of open carved cutoutsand carvings on each side. The skirts have a gentle serpentine shape andare made of figured mahogany. The chairs have finely turned legs in front.The leather on the seats is in good shape - they were done by a previousowner. Most of the chairs retain their original castors that are signed(see photo). When we purchased these chairs they were in need of a numberof minor repairs which we have done. They are now in good usable and tightcondition.
