Consolidated Five Fruits Luncheon Sets
This sandwich set was designed by Reuben Haley and produced by the Consolidated Glass Company in the late 1920's. The pattern is called 'Five fruits' and is one of Consolidated's scarce tableware lines. The set is listed in the Consolidated catalog as #2578tray and #2579 sundae. The tray is approximately 8 inches long and has a ring to hold the sundae dish. The color is green ceramic. Excellent condition, I have 12 available, price is per set. Elegant Glass: LAFAYETTE
Fostoria Lafayette Wisteria Salad Plate
The Lafayette pattern is one of Fostoria Glass Company's earlier dinnerware shapes, and was used as the blank for many of their etchings. Offered here is the 7 1/4 inch salad or dessert plate in the rare Wisteria color. This color was made in the early 1930's and is dichroic as it reacts to the light - changes from amethyst in daylight to a blue, almost tanzanite color, in florescent light. I have 5 plates available and all are in excellent condition. (One has a pinhead size burst bubble on the underneath edge.)I have 8 available, price is per plate.
