BLUE TRANSFERWARE: Pitchers Enoch Wood Staffordshire Blue Transferware Table Pitcher, ABBEY, c. 1874 - 1818 Here is an early Staffordshire table pitcher measuring 10 2/3 inches tall, the size for table use. It was made in the pottery of Enoch Wood, c. 1874 - 1818 and bears the Abbey pattern. The design features gothic ruins along a river. In the foreground, several figures fish from the banks. We love the prominent spout and the scrolling on a stippled ground the decorates the top part of the pitcher.Condition is excellent - no chips, cracks, hairlines, stains, or restoration.
