This table has a solid square shaped top with curved ends.There are three original leaves that extend the table out to 84" (therunners would accommodate more leaves if you wished to have more made.) Thetop of the table and the leaves have a lovely carved border. The splitpedestal base is gorgeous with finely carved and sculpted legs. Even thesupporting structure under the table is intricately carved. A center leg isexposed when the table is opened. Some restoration to table top. Magnificently Carved & Signed Belter Table
Magnificent heavily carved solid rosewood table with marble top and original "John H. Belter" label. (not readable in photo but can make out a faded printed J.H. Belter signature). The green that is barely visible on the label says J. H. Belter. The label has been protected with lucite. This table is in showroom condition. The solid rosewood carvings are at a minimum of 2.5" thick and go up to 3.5" in depth. Magnificent work! Best Belter center table we've ever seen!
