This is a triple collectible. It is made by Fostoria expressly for Avon and Features Mount Vernon in frosted glass on Cobalt Blue. 5-1/2"tallIt is also a decoration as well as usable being a pitcher. It is pressed with a fine design of ribbed lines and diamond patterns and a raised picture of Mount Vernon, Washington beloved home on the Potomac, in frosted glass. AN EXCLUSIVE AVON DESIGN PRODUCED BY FOSTORIA Glass. FOSTORIA Glass Company built in 1887 in Fostoria, Ohio but moved to Moundsville, West Virginia in 1891 was recognized as the largest producer of handmade glassware in the world. The company ceased operations in Moundsville, West Virginia in 1986. What a nice heirloom to hand down. This pitcher is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips.

Fostoria Cobalt Blue Sauce Pitcher Mt. Vernon
This beautiful pitcher is 5 ½ inches tall and 5 ½ inches from the handle to the spout. It is a beautiful cobalt blue with a medallion of Mount Vernon on one side. This pitcher was made to commemorate the bicentennial in 1976. This sauce pitcher is in mint condition.These pitchers were made by Fostoria for Avon on the bottom of the pitcher is marked AVON. This piece and the other 2 in the set can be found in the book "Fostoria serving the American table from 1887-1986". This book shows a value of $15 -$20 per piece.

Fostoria American ring holder soap dish combination item. It is listed in Sidney Seligson's book, 'Fostoria American Complete Guide' and can be seen on page 69. This piece was made by Fostoria for Avon only in 1980. It measures 3 11/16 inches across. The ring spine is offset center of the soap dish, as shown in the photos. No chips or cracks. It is marked on the bottom.
