These are white 2 small white paint splatters on top of the green and a flea bite size nip on the underside of the lid but again under the glaze. There is a flea bite size nip on the one wheel of the train but nothing that takes away from this magnificent cookie jar! The underside is marked and reads " Calif-USA Maurice JD-15".
