Uhl Pottery: Uhl Pottery Ransburg Decorated Orange Cookie Jar Ransburg Decorated Orange Cookie Jar likely made by UHL Pottery who produced cookie jars, teapots, bowls, etc. for Ransburg. This Cookie Jar is glazed white inside and has the tan, toast colored clay that UHL used. Measures 9 3/4'' tall. There are no chips or cracks on this cookie jar. The orange paint does show some wear, mostly on the inside rim and a small amount of color darkening on the flowers. Very nice vintage condition for the UHL or Ransburg collector.

Uhl Pottery: Blue Hand Painted Ransburg / Uhl ? Pottery Cookie Jar Vintage Blue Ransburg Cookie Jar with White Hand Painted Flowers (Asters?). Measures 8'' tall and has two stubby little handles on the side. Has the original Ransburg sticker on the lid, but they just did the decorative painting. This cookie jar is most likely a UHL Pottery piece due to its color and shape, because it is very heavy (over 5 lbs), the white interior glazing, and UHL's signature tan clay visible on its well worn base--please see all the pictures. The blue base color paint is in better condition than most of these cookie jars with very little paint loss (mostly on the lid). There is extensive age crazing visible on the interior. There are areas of discoloration visible on the exterior (and inside) which mostly likely (I believe) are from oils in the cookies. I have not attempted to clean this cookie jar because of potentially damaging the cold paint--maybe someone out there knows how. This is a very colorful, hard to find cookie jar that adds a cheerful country touch to a vintage kitchen--exactly what Ransburg intended.
