Victorian-Era_Glass: Glass Patented Antique Syrup Pitcher For sale is a patented antique blown glass syrup pitcher. c:1884. Heavy duty glass with polished pontil on bottom. Inside lid reads: 'O H or O K, Pat. Jan. 19, 84'. This pitcher has a pewter lid, (slightly irregular around edge). The glass has some bubbles in it, but no chips or cracks. It stands 7 tall x 3 wide at bottom. The gorgeous glass throws off a lot of colors in sunlight. A fabulous piece of antique glass for your collection! (epns = electroplated nickel silver, aka, silver plate, Daniel Arter). Country of origin: England. This item is a quality item; it is in good 'antique' condition; bottom rim is quite worn and smooth. It stands about 6.75 tall; 4 wide across top rim. The glass on the jar pings like crystal, but might be EAPG. Once used for tea biscuits, crackers and scones. The pattern consists of diamonds and round concave dots. A gorgeous jar to grace your dining room breakfront! Put it on your wish list and have your significant other get it for you!
