Antique Rockingham Glazed Bowl

rockingham For sale is an antique Rockingham glazed yellow ware bowl. Very nice bowl for the serious collector. Gorgeous little bowl with no maker's mark, but nice detailing on exterior of bowl, and good condition, no chips or cracks. Likely Bennington or early Brush-McCoy; (Rockingham or Nurock style glazing). These little bowls are considered 'rare'. It is a bit over 6 wide x 3 tall. (Large numbers of pieces of Rochingham glazed items are not marked, see pg. 241 book by J. Spargo). Thanks for visiting More Than McCoy!

Three Vintage USA French Casserole Dishes

For sale are three vintage USA individual french casserole dishes. = only $14/each! Very attractive, heavy-duty stoneware. Each has the identical incised USA mark on the bottom, and identical pattern. The colors are aqua, blue, and brown. Likely made by one of the great old American pottery companies in the 1930-40's, e.g., Coors, Monmouth, Watt, McCoy, Brush-McCoy, RRP Roseville. Good vintage condition; no chips or cracks; the blue one has one small noticeable glaze miss, (where blue color did not adhere to the clay, but it is glazed over and smooth). These stand about 3.5 tall with lids on, and are 5 wide across rim, or 7 long from handle end to other side. Use them or just display them!

Vintage Brown Mixing Bowl

For sale is a vintage mixing bowl. Very heavy, brown glazed mixing bowl. You can see by the thick, worn smooth bottom rim that this is quite an old one, and because it is not marked, (the really old ones are not marked)! c.1920-30's would be my guess on this one. Buff colored clay, so it is not Zanesville, but could be Watt, McCoy, Morton, or other. It has no cracks, but does have some signs of use on the interior, and some very teensy rim nicks from usage, e.g. cracking eggs against rim, not noticeable unless trying very hard to see. It is 7 7/8 inches wide and about 4.5 inches high. It goes well with other stoneware items, or any of the Hull, McCoy, RRP brown dinnerware lines.

Thanks for visiting More Than McCoy!

Vintage Oven Ware USA Mixing Bowl

For sale is a vintage Oven Ware USA mixing bowl. Marked: Oven Ware U.S.A. This is either a Watt or Nelson McCoy, at least according to Lehner's book of marks, both companies used the Oven Ware mark. This bowl looks like it has yellow clay underneath, you can see some tiny glaze misses on the upper rim, and one clay irregularity, but no chips or cracks. (blue-glazed yellow ware?). If you love blue this one's for you! It measures about 8 wide x 4 high.

Pfaltzgraf Brown Drip Covered Casserole

For sale is a vintage Pfaltzgraf covered casserole. Beautiful brown drip covered brown drip style casserole dish marked on the bottom: Pfaltzgraf Ovenproof U.S.A. A great item you can actually still use, or just display!

Mixing Bowls:
Old Green USA Mixing Bowl

Old Green Mixing Bowl, unmarked but made by one of the old USA potteries. Has the 3 stilt marks on the base and an embossed wave-like pattern (McCoy has a similar feather design) with alternating smooth and stippled effect (textured like peanut shells). The pictures don't show the color well, but it is a pale pea-green. Bowl measures 4 7/8'' tall and 9 1/4'' in diameter. There are no chips, crazing or cracks. As typical for old American pottery, there are some small glaze pops and glaze separations from manufacturing. If you love old mixing bowls, this will make a nice addition to your collection.

Vintage USA Milk Pan

For sale is a vintage USA milk pan. Nice stoneware bowl with incised U.S.A. mark on bottom. Likely made between 1920-1940. You can see by the well worn, dark upper and lower rims that this is a very old bowl. It is probably not a mixing bowl because it has a flat bottom. It is either what is called a milk pan or a bread bowl and was likely made by McCoy, RRP Roseville, UHL, or Hull, since the clay on it is a buff color. It is 9.5 wide x 3.25 tall, and has no chips or cracks. It does have a couple of small glaze misses which is typical of this old stoneware.

Two Oven Ware French Onion Soup Casseroles

For sale are two Oven Ware french onion soup casseroles. (2 for one price = $14/each!). Nice vintage, heavy brown glazed, covered french onion soup covered casserole dishes. Both have incised mark: Oven Ware Made in USA in a circular band. This mark is either Watt or Nelson-McCoy, as both used this mark on their old dinnerware lines. These casseroles stand about 4 tall x 6 long and are both in good condition, no chips or cracks, just some crazing, and one tiny glaze separation on lid rim, (this happens during firing, the clay just separates), and couple of small glaze misses. Very attractive old dishes.

Vintage USA Beanpot and Face Mugs

For sale is a vintage USA beanpot and face mugs. Heavy-duty brown glazed bean pot with incised USA mark on bottom. No chips or cracks, just some pinpops on this beauty! You also get 4 cute beanpot face mugs/cups with it! These mugs all have faces on them, and the USA incised mark. Not sure which American pottery company made these, but could be Watt, McCoy, RRP Roseville, or another great company. The mugs are in good condition too, no chips or cracks, although one of them has a black spot on one eye, (not sure what that is), and a noticeable spot where brown glaze missed, but there is clear glaze over it, so this is a factory flaw. The beanpot stands 6.25 tall, and is 8.5 wide. The mugs are 3.5 wide at top rim, and 3.5 tall. You can serve up some hot chili in these cuties! The bean pot and mugs do not appear to have ever been used, and were purchased separately, but I thought they went great together!
