For sale is a vintage Brush-McCoy miniature cat. c:1939-40. This mini cat is pictured in Sanford's 1992 book on p. 105, 4th row, not marked, but most old BM pottery is not marked. Brush-McCoy was in existence from 1911-1982. This cat has most of the cold paint on its face. No chips or cracks, just some faint crazing, to be expected of this type of pottery of this age. Most of these little miniatures have not survived. A must have for a true Brush-McCoy collector.

It actually measures 8 1/2' wide, including handles, 7'' front to back and 6 1/4'' tall. It is unmarked and has the stilt marks on the base common to the earlier brown onyx pieces. There is a small area on the inner rim where the glaze does not cover--possibly rubbed off, but may be original from factory. It's not noticeable because of the blended colors, but you can feel it when rubbing. This is a beautiful example of Brush McCoy's Brown Onxy Collection

These old Brush McCoy Onyx pieces have such depth and individual character, they make one really appreciate vintage American pottery.

No chips or cracks and is about 3 tall x 6.5 total width. It has crazing, but because of the rich glaze, it is not really noticeable unless looking closely at it.

For sale is a Brush-McCoy Pottery vase planter. Cute green BM vase with mark: Brush USA 6" on bottom under the glaze. It stands 3.5 tall x 6 wide and has no chips or cracks. It has a tiny piece of clay waste near bottom rim which has no glaze over it but that is the only flaw on it. Nice affordable piece for your collection!
