Buffet Servers & Warmers: Buffet Master with Pyrex Receptacles For keeping food hot or cold. Chromed base and lids. Wood handles and feet. Black plastic (or Bakelite?) knobs on lids. (3) Pyrex #599 clear receptacles 5" diameter x 4" high. Original cloth cord. Probably manufactured or assembled by Forman Family but it is not marked on the bottom. Probabaly had paper label which is long gone. Circa 1940. The unit is in wonderful condition, no pitting or distracting scratches. It really looks like it was never used, expecially the cloth cord. For some reason, the paint has mostly come off one of the feet. To keep foods warm, water is placed in the base unit where there is an enclosed rod that heats the water. To keep foods cold, ice can be placed in the base unit around the pyrex receptacles.
