$ 32.00	Kitchen Collectibles - Teapots and Coffeepots: PYREX TEAPOT, GLASS, 6 CUP This cute glass teapot was made for Pyrex from the Corning Glass Works Company of Corning, New York. It was probably made in the early 1950’s.This is a 6 cup stovetop teapot. It has a round body with and indented center where the stainless steel band for the handle rest. The band in held on by one screw on the handle. It has an easy grip handle that fits the hand well. There is a deep well made by the spout to prevent spill when pouring. The clear glass lid had two lips to hold in place and prevent it from falling off when pouring hot liquids. It is marked Pyrex, 7556-C E-29. I see no nicks or chips in the lid. I feel no nicks or chips in the teapot itself, but there are some scratch marks on the bottom of the teapot. It looks like someone got over-zealous in cleaning at some time. The bottom is marked with a circle, the Pyrex name in the middle, the flame-proof logo above that with an L to the side,8446-B, 6CUP, on the top, and Made in U.S.A. on the bottom.Some of the days advertisements stated the "Pyrex Teapot for boiling, brewing, and serving. Beautifully graceful, 6 Cup capacity." And "Boil water, brew tea, serve proudly in the sturdy Pyrex teapot. All Pyrex Flameware is tempered to make it extra-strong and durable." These ads can be seen in Gene and Kathy Florence’s book "Ovenware from the 1920’s to the Present."

Has cup measurements inside. (This is the type without the strainer-disk, since the top screwed down close to the top of the stem or pushed down). Overall condition, gently used, good condition. (We are finding very few of these percolators and even fewer complete and in good condition) Price is for one percolator, complete with all parts.
$ 21.00	Kitchen Collectibles - Teapots and Coffeepots: SILVER COFFEE CARAFE W/WARMER AND 2 CARAFETTES This wonderful coffee carafe was made by Pyrex, most likely for Inland Glass Works, as it resembles a lot of the Inland carafes.This carafe stands 9 ½" tall. It has a long 3 3/8" slender neck. This is encased in a silver metal band. This band is cut out in abstract shapes and has slightly etched patterns around these cutouts. The neck is then attached to a black plastic handle. The mouth is 2 1/8" wide. At the end of the neck it flairs into a large round ball shape. Two inches down from the base of the neck it has two silver bands encircling the carafe. . It has written on the body, Pyrex Brand Glassware, Made in USA, Beverage Server. It has a plastic lid covering a cork. The cork is in good shape The warmer base is black metal, and stands 4 ½" tall. I do see some small paint loss of the black base. I believe the candle base is missing, but this could be replaced easily, or used with out it, by placing the candle underneath on some other metal.This comes with two individual carafes or carafettes as they are sometimes called. These stand 6 ½" tall with the lids on. They are in the same shape as the larger carafe. They have a slender 2" neck that is coated in silver plating. There are some scratches on the silver. A silver metal band surrounds the neck and attaches to a black plastic handle. Silver metal tops with corks are used for the lids.The middle of the carafe has 3 silver rings. A larger ring is in the middle with small ones on either side. These could be used as individual carafes for coffee or hot water. Or used as sugar and creamers.

Overall condition very good, perks, light comes on when ready, keeps coffee hot. Typical minor use marks on interior, typical minor stains inside and typical minor no-harm scuffs on bottom. (Getting increasingly hard to find these in good condition and with all the parts.) The electrical cords are almost impossible to find. This one even has the disc-strainer that goes on top of the grounds-basket. Carefully used. (IF we are in a recession/depression, you can make a great pot of coffee for breakfast, then carry some in a thermos instead of havng an expensive coffee shop drink) We also have this pattern in other Corningware, coffeepots, teapots, casseroles, lasagna pans,roasters,etc.) Price is for one elec. perc with all parts.
