Jeannette Glass: Jeannette Carnival Glass Floral Juice Pitcher This vintage juice carnival glass floral juice pitcher with ice lip was made by the Jeannette Glass Company. The Jeannette Bottle Works Company began in 1887, in Jeannette, Pennsylvania. until 1898 when the Jeannette Bottle Works became the Jeannette Glass Company. In 1899 the O’Neill semi-automatic bottle blowing machine was introduced and the company automated and mass produced bottles, wide mouth jars, relishes and pressed glass products. By the 1920s, the Jeannette Glass Company had expanded and grown to manufacture a wide range of glass products for medical, industrial and home uses. In 1924, they introduced their tableware products, which are now known as Depression glass. Today, many of Jeannette’s tableware patterns are very popular with collectors and enthusiasts. They ceased production and closed the factory in 1983.In very good condition it does have 3 scratch marks near the ice lip line which look like manufacturer flaws as I have shown in my pictures and it measures 10 inches tall, 5 1/4 inches across the rim and 3 3/4 inches at the base. An addition to any Jeannette Carnival Glass Collection. SH & Ins. will be quoted after orders placed. If you have questions please feel free to contact me and thank you for looking.
