Punch Imperial Bowl 474 Cosmos 1913 Glass

Antique Glass Fabulous punch bowl with base in excellent condition. This pattern glass is called 474 but some call Cosmos. This is the original that Imperial Glass out of Ohio put out in 1913 and which one may find in Carnival Glass from the 1950s. This clear bowl and base has lovely Cosmos flowers and is 9.25 inches tall and 12.0 inches across at top. Up to 3 quarts of punch can be put in this for the holiday parties. Very difficult to find in this lovely antique EAPG set.

Pattern Glass:
ENGLISH Pattern Glass FOOTED CREAMER Amber

Creamer, pattern glass, England. We picked up this pretty pressed glass creamer at a 'boot' sale in England. It's six-sided and has three ball feet. Color is amber. Height: 3 3/8 inches. There is a carnival glass version in marigold by Sowerby, called ''Lea''. This one was probably also made by Sowerby. Very good condition.

Glass-Pattern Glass:
NORTHWOOD GLASS BLUE ORIENTAL POPPY WATER PITCHER

The Northwood Glass Company made this Rare Blue Pattern Glass Water Pitcher in the early 1900s. The pattern is called ORIENTAL POPPY. It features a pattern of Poppy Flowers on a Tankard Style Pitcher with an applied glass handle. It is about 13-1/2 inches tall and has no chips or cracks, but it has an open surface straw mark (folding marks from the molding process) at the end of the stem on the poppy on the backside that can be felt with a fingernail (see photo). The gold decoration is worn off the rim and higher areas of the design. During production, there were some impurities in the glass that resulted in inclusions in the form of small white specks inside the glass (see photos for examples). Northwood also produced this pitcher with a carnival finish and carnival glass collectors know how truly rare that one is.
