Square satin finish (fluoridized) bases, glossy black stems and bowls and satin finish elegant flared lips. Very heavy, each weighs 2 and 3/4 pounds. Condition: no chips, no cracks, no scrapes, appear little used. Price is for the pair.

A molded Depression glass vase by L. E. Smith with two demi-handles. There are three silver bands on the body, which have slight wear. Also the body of the vase has minor scratches. When held to the light black amethyst glass shows as lavendar-pink ~ just like the color of an amethyst gemstone. Height of vase: 6¼ inches. Very good condition, except as noted.

This VASE was made by the L.E. SMITH GLASS COMPANY.It features a BULBOUS SHAPE and a RUFFLED RIM and it is made of BLACK GLASS.It is not marked by the manufacturer.The CONDITION is ESTATE / USED. There are some flaws and roughness to the rim due to the manufacturing process and one of the ruffled points is chipped.

This bowl is in EXCELLENT condition w/ NO chips, cracks or noticeable scratches - MUST SEE PICS! Made by the L.E. Smith glass Company from 1920s-1934*, there's traces of some silver decoration it had at one time, but mostly rubbed off. Measures eight inches across without handles and roughly 8.75 inches across from handle to open handle. Has a deep amethyst purple color when held to bright light.
