Vintage Yellow Ware Bowls

yellow ware For sale are four vintage yellow ware bowls. c.1933-1959. 4 bowls, one price!. 4 matching shoulder style small bowls, likely used for rice pudding or tapioca/custard. The bottoms are marked: COOKIN-WARE COOK RITE ECONOMY HEALTH in a circle, and these were made by Tycer, Warren I. Pottery, Roseville and Zanesville, Ohio. The mark is shown on pg. 177 of Lehners Book of Marks, mark #3. These bowls or nappies are 4.5 wide x 2 tall. These are what I consider good vintage condition; just one has a teensy fleabite off bottom rim. The book states these were 'glazed over yellow clay of the area'; and a larger Tycer bowl is listed on another website as 'antique yellow ware'.

Three Vintage USA French Casserole Dishes

For sale are three vintage USA individual french casserole dishes. = only $14/each! Very attractive, heavy-duty stoneware. Each has the identical incised USA mark on the bottom, and identical pattern. The colors are aqua, blue, and brown. Likely made by one of the great old American pottery companies in the 1930-40's, e.g., Coors, Monmouth, Watt, McCoy, Brush-McCoy, RRP Roseville. Good vintage condition; no chips or cracks; the blue one has one small noticeable glaze miss, (where blue color did not adhere to the clay, but it is glazed over and smooth). These stand about 3.5 tall with lids on, and are 5 wide across rim, or 7 long from handle end to other side. Use them or just display them!

Vintage USA Milk Pan

For sale is a vintage USA milk pan. Nice stoneware bowl with incised U.S.A. mark on bottom. Likely made between 1920-1940. You can see by the well worn, dark upper and lower rims that this is a very old bowl. It is probably not a mixing bowl because it has a flat bottom. It is either what is called a milk pan or a bread bowl and was likely made by McCoy, RRP Roseville, UHL, or Hull, since the clay on it is a buff color. It is 9.5 wide x 3.25 tall, and has no chips or cracks. It does have a couple of small glaze misses which is typical of this old stoneware.

Vintage USA Beanpot and Face Mugs

For sale is a vintage USA beanpot and face mugs. Heavy-duty brown glazed bean pot with incised USA mark on bottom. No chips or cracks, just some pinpops on this beauty! You also get 4 cute beanpot face mugs/cups with it! These mugs all have faces on them, and the USA incised mark. Not sure which American pottery company made these, but could be Watt, McCoy, RRP Roseville, or another great company. The mugs are in good condition too, no chips or cracks, although one of them has a black spot on one eye, (not sure what that is), and a noticeable spot where brown glaze missed, but there is clear glaze over it, so this is a factory flaw. The beanpot stands 6.25 tall, and is 8.5 wide. The mugs are 3.5 wide at top rim, and 3.5 tall. You can serve up some hot chili in these cuties! The bean pot and mugs do not appear to have ever been used, and were purchased separately, but I thought they went great together!
