Occupied & Made in Japan: MIJ – Spice Set – Chick Design Cute spice set with a yellow chick on the end of what look to be volumes of books and the spice name is on each as well as the volume number in Roman numerals. Most likely would date to the 1940’s thru the 1950’s. Each marked Japan on the bottom. Missing the corks, or they are pushed inside. Each measure 3-5/16th inches height, 2-1/2 inches length, and 1-1/4 inch width, with 5 holes on top and a fill hole in the bottom. Nice vintage condition, with a pleasing chick pattern which resembles the one used by Roseville.
