Porcelain and Pottery - Stoneware: Bean Pot
Robinson Ransbottom Bean Pot

This bean pot was produced by the Robinson Ransbottom Pottery Co. Roseville Ohio in the early 1900's. It has the blue crown mark and is approx. the 3 quart size. It does have 2 light hairline cracks. Please view images as I have tried to show them. These are minor and will not effect the display of this vintage bean pot. Dark brown and off white glaze.

Robinson Ransbottom Stoneware Salt Glaze Crock

This is an old salt glaze stoneware crock. RRPCO made this 3 gallon salt glaze stoneware crock in Roseville, Ohio sometime after 1920. The under glaze mark is a blue crown with the number 3 and USA. USA is also incised on the bottom of this crock. The colors are a cream color outside and a chocolate brown inside. This Robinson Ransbottom crock has no damage. The measurements are approximately 11 inches tall with a 10 ¾ inch diameter. The sides are about 5/8 inch thick. This RRPCo stoneware crock would look great with your country kitchen décor. We have three available and the price is for each.Kruck’s Korner Kollectibles has free shipping on all purchases in the continental U.S. We are fully bonded sellers through buySAFE and stand behind every purchase with a money back guarantee.

Large Vintage Stone Acid Pitcher

stoneware For sale is a large vintage 'stone acid pitcher'. Heavy duty OLD stoneware pitcher. This is likely an old McCoy or RRP Roseville, as both companies produced a lot of stoneware like this. It looks identical to the one in the RRP book, however, this one is not marked. See pg. 80 of the RRP book. Most early stoneware was not marked; the USA mark primarily started being used in the 1930's-40's, and thereafter, companies began using their logos. In any event this pitcher is in very good condition for its age which is early 20th C; look at that old bottom!. It is 10 high x 6.5 wide at top rim. A great piece of stoneware to add to your collection!

Porcelain and Pottery-Stoneware:
The German -- Primitive Stoneware

This is a nice primitive stoneware bowl, marked on the bottom, "The German". This has a blue inside with high gloss glaze and the outside is done in a criss-cross type pattern. The diameter of the bowl is about 7" and stands about 3" tall. You can see marks of heat towards the base of the star -- it shows up in the picture I think as a dark area. It has nice patina and I would estimate its age to be circa 1900-1920 era. I believe this is a utilitarian ware piece made by Roseville.

Antique Stoneware Utility Crock

stoneware For sale is a vintage stoneware crock. c.1940's & earlier. This is the perfect size old stoneware crock to house some of your favorite kitchen gadgets, like rolling pins, spatulas, meat forks, eggbeaters, etc. Strong, heavy, old crock that is bristol glaze on the exterior and albany slip on the interior. All the great old American pottery companies made these crocks, including McCoy, Zanesville, RRP Roseville, Redwing, Hull, etc, so it could be any one of those, and most of the early ones are not marked. It stands 8 tall x 7.5 wide, and has no chips or cracks, and a very well worn bottom indicating a lot of age. (checkout Martha Stewart's kitchen; she has assorted sizes of these crocks).

Stoneware & Saltglaze: Pottery
Vintage Stoneware Insulators

stoneware For sale are two vintage stoneware insulators, (2 for one price!) These are two old heavy duty insulators. Don't ask me how they were used, I just know they are called insulators. I use similar ones as hurricane lamps at my summer outdoor parties because they are so heavy, won't all over, and fit a candle in them quite nicely! Both are marked under the glaze: one is marked with an R in a circle, (could be an old Roseville Pottery mark, as most of the old American companies made these types of things too); other is marked: PINCO 63. Each are a bit different in terms of size and glaze color, but are still nice to use together. You can even use them indoors on a table if you have any of the brown dishes put out by McCoy, RRP, Watt, Hull, etc., or as indoor hurricanes too! Also look good just sitting next to other vintage stoneware items.

Stoneware:
Vintage Stoneware Fireproof Bowl / Baking Dish

Vintage Stoneware Bowl or Baking Dish with stippled heart design and bristol glazed interior. This bowl / baking dish is very similar in design to Roseville Pottery's Venetian line but I have not been able to determine the actual maker. The bottom has a raised rim and 3 horizontal raised feet in the center. Incised TRADEMARK, FIREPROOF, ACID PROOF, DURABLE on the bottom. Measures 9'' in diameter and 3'' tall. On the top rim an area appears to have been sliced off (see pictures) during manufacture and another smaller section right beside it that may be part of that boo, or possibly a shallow chip from use--it's hard to tell because it blends with the colors. There are faint use marks inside and slight darkening from use on the bottom. For its age and original usage, this bowl is actually in very good condition. This stoneware bowl / baking dish's distinctive design is not one that is seen often and will make a great addition to a vintage stoneware collection.

Early Brushware Stoneware Flower Pot

Early Brushware Stoneware Flower Pot with unglazed tan interior and blue/green brushed color accents over embossed floral swags. Base is drilled for drainage and flowerpot would have originally had a saucer to match. This style of pottery was made in the late 1920s and 1930s by various American potteries such as Red Wing, Monmouth, Burley Winter, Brush-McCoy, Roseville and Weller. Unmarked except for an incised number 4. There is a small glaze pop on the interior and small glaze flake on the interior rim which is not very noticeable as it blends with the overall color of the clay. There is some paint rubbing on the top rim--maybe from use or from manufacture as the potteries were not always perfectionists regarding glazes applied. These were transitional pieces from early stoneware to the later decorative art ware. Early Brushware Flower Pots can be hard to find.
