Vintage Brown USA Pottery Cookie Jar with Handpainted Fruit design. This cookie jar has strange, small ear-like handles. Has raised in-mold USA mark. Stands 7 1/2'' tall with lid in place and 9'' wide handle-to-handle. The cookie jar has no chips, cracks, etc. just a little color loss to the fruit. The cover has 2 small nibbles on the edge (see pics) but that's not bad considering the age. This cookie jar is likely circa 1930s based on the style and decoration. I'm not sure which of the USA potteries like McCoy, Watt Pottery, RRP Robinson-Ransbottom, UHL, Redwing, etc. made this one. (It almost looks wheel-made but the glaze is too thick to say for sure.) This quirky vintage cookie jar would make a nice addition to a vintage kitchen, stoneware or cookie jar collection.

Vintage USA Pottery Brown Smiling Train with Black Top Hat Cookie Jar. It is marked only with an impressed 2648 USA on the side and 2648 on the lid. There is gray accent paint which is probably not original (I think red or orange would be more likely). I have not located this exact cookie jar in my books. McCoy, Treasure Craft and others made train cookie jars. The style looks like Treasure Craft to me. This is a heavy-weight cookie jar. There are some paint scuffs and a small chip on the inside of the lid. Please see all the pictures. Some wear to a cookie jar is expected so this is actually in pretty good condition. You could repaint the gray color or leave it as is. This Train Cookie Jar is just adorable!

The cold paint decal, which has rubbed off, probably dates this cookie jar back to the 40's. Stands 8 1/2" tall and 6" wide. With the exception of the decal on front, this cookie jar is in very good condition and SHINY IN/OUT
