This is a rare Fenton lamp. Occasionally you will see one of these in French Opalescent, but this is Fenton's Green Opalescent Dot Optic pattern G-70 series lamp from the early 1930's. Similar lamps can be seen in both of Whitmyer's "Fenton Art Glass Patterns" books, 1909-39 and 1939-80. Measuring 7-1/2" in diameter, this one is definitely Fenton as it has the slightly panelled pattern in the base. No chimney included. In very clean condition, no chips or cracks.

IT HAS A WONDERFUL HOBNAIL OUTSIDE AND THE BEAUTIFUL BLUE IS MARBELIZED WITH WHITE. IT IS AN EARLIER FENTON PIECE AND NOT MARKED. IT IS 2 INCHES HIGH, 7 3/4 INCHES WIDE AT THE HANDLE AND 6 1/2 INCHES DEEP. A HARD PIECE TO FIND.

For sale I am offering a Fenton Carolina Dogwood Bowl. It has a great iridescent color. It is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. It is marked on the bottom Fenton. What a great item for the Fenton collector!It stands 2 ½ inches tall. It measures 8 ½ inches across the top.
