Large Carl Sorensen wide-mouth bronze vase with several rows of horizontal bands. Before Sorensen became a designer for Tiffany, he made a fine line of tableware that typically used a mottled green patination and decorative concentric rings. These are apparent on this piece. Marked on base with typical CS Bronze mark and Carl Sorensen in script. Circa 1930. Height: 8";diameter at top of vase:&¼". This is both larger and has a wider opening than most vases of this type.
