Daisy and Button Yellow Vaseline Glass Top Hat Vase. This daisy and button pattern vaseline glass top hat vase measures 2-1/2 inches tall by 3-1/4 inches across the top of the hat. The glass top hat has an unusual look having two sides of the top brim slightly bent. The top hat has no mark or logo and has been black light tested (see picture). Hat vase is in Excellent Condition; it has a small fleabite and some roughness on the side near the bottom that does not impact its display. Our research references in Picture Book of Vaseline by Sue Davis that this vaseline top hat is possibly circa 1892 manufactured by U.S. Glass Factory-D. Duncan & Sons. |
