For sale is an antique wooden hat mold. c.1800's-early 1900's. A very ecclectic accessory item for just about any style decor! Solid hardwood mold with small striations in wood; some splits in the wood on the bottom from age/dryness, but no chips; good overall 'antique' condition. Felt strip on bottom, incised mark on bottom: '2 3 1/2, 869 S S, G. T. Smith, N.Y., H B'. A great way to display your vintage hat, or to display by itself. Measures 7.5 H x 8.5 W. PS: This would be a very unique gift for that hard to please man; put a cowboy hat on it and he'll love it! |
