Unusual glazes make this tile an interesting Arts & Crafts Movement piece. This has a self framing edge of dark cranberry, and the interior design has glazes of gun metal black and mottled green - all semi matte. There are very cool matte light green drips in the center. Measures 4 1/8" square by ¾" thick. Made by Wheatley Pottery of Cincinnati, OH, ca 1915. Incised "NB" on the back. In excellent condition. (#1104)
