Manufacturer: american tile company
Made in the cuerda seca (wax resist) method, this great tile depicts a toy solider and trees, and measures 4 1/8" square. Red clay base and matte glazes of green, grays, white, burgundy, yellow and ecru. American, probably circa 1925, this deinstalled tile has three small glaze flakes near the edges. In generally very nice condition. (#1303)
