Manufacturer: Pewabic Made by Pewabic Pottery of Detroit, Michigan, this measures 3 ¾" square and is glazed on the sides, as well as the front. The design is crossed bones inside a shield. The glaze color is a dark red (burgundy) with a definite iridescence. There are also these wonderful blue flecks of iridescent glaze. Probably made in the 1920s. This has a combed back. There are 2 small factory glaze pops on the front. Generally, in excellent condition. (#1641)
