The Moravian Pottery & Tile Works of Doylestown, PA remade tiles in the original circa 1920 hand made methods. This Mayflower tile is one of their earlier remakes. Dating from 1974, this is 3 ¾" square. Made on buff clay, with a semi matte glaze and light blue in the background and recesses. One chip in the upper left corner. An interesting example of the early remakes. (#1001)
