This comprehensive catalog 'supersedes the last one made in 1949 by the great horologist, G.H. Bailie, and includes the large number of additions made to the collection since that date. The items are divided into three main categories, Watches, Clocks and Miscellaneous and these three are subdivided into specialized sections; each with an introduction providing historical and technical information about the more important entries. Chronological order is followed, and of the 692 items listed 200 are illustrated.
